Melis pursued her academic career at the University of Amsterdam, where she studied Media and Culture Studies with a focus on Film. She went on to pursue her Masters degree in New Media and Digital Culture to deepen her understanding of digital media and information technologies and how they shape our current online world.
Melis began her career as a short film maker before working in the technology industry. However, her love for travel and adventure never faded. She decided to leave her 9 to 5 job and become a full-time traveler and content creator.
With her cinematic and critical research scholar perspective, she has developed a unique approach to online content creation. Through her social media platforms, she presents a fresh way of seeing the world, showcasing the best destinations, stays and experiences one can have during their travels.
